My mother had to go to a rehab facility after a hospital stay and we chose Hickory House. I give this facility and the staff a 10 out of 10!! The staff is wonderful, so helpful and so pleasant. My mother has made wonderful progress in just a short period of time. The facility is very clean. I was a little skeptical going into this experience never having been in a skilled nursing facility/rehab before. My expectations were exceeded exponentially! My mother and I both agree that we can give nothing but positive reviews for Hickory House. Thank you to everyone there for making my mothers stay with you a very pleasant experience!

This facility is a disgrace my husband was there for two weeks for rehab PT was good, but nursing was horrendous Despite my cautions about my husbands heart disease and his necessary diet, he was continually served inappropriate meals He was not only misdiagnosed with RSV when he had Covid, he ended up in the hospital with fluid overload from heart failure due to lack of care Nursing was patronizing to me at best when I advocated for my husband At one point, an aide falsely documented that my husband got a shower when he did not A nurse laughed when he blood sugars were very high and said “at least he enjoyed his breakfast” I placed multiple calls to the administrator as well as social service and my calls were never returned Also my husbands call button was rarely in reach and he would call me at home to help him get a nurse I’m glad ai took him out of there before they killed him This place needs to have its Medicare rating reevaluated It is horrible Aside from advocating for my husband, I am a retired medical social worker I know good care from bad, this place is horrendous
