It's very welcoming. Beautiful surroundings educated staff. Clean and warm feeling like home. We picked this community because of the price, cleanliness, and staff.

Holiday Greeley Place has been a good experience for [name removed] parents. We like that Greeley Place has contracted with Visiting Angels for physical therapy and occupational therapy on sight. There is a hair salon in the facility. The parents are able to get their toe nails clipped. There are a variety of activities the parents can choose to participate in. Their favorite is bingo twice a week. We can also pay a person to fill their medication containers on a biweekly basis. Their meals are planned out for the week and they can decide what choices to make beforehand.

My mother and father had been at Greeley Place for almost ten years - Mom was there 10 years and Dad was there two. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for them. After Dad passed, the staff and residents embraced Mom and helped her through a very sad time. Mom made so many friends and was active in almost all the activities. The most endearing part of her stay there was how the staff cooperated and became protective of mom as she aged and became more forgetful. She loved being there and felt loved and safe. I can’t say enough good about Greeley Place. We weee so fortunate to have found this bright light in our community

My visit to Holiday Greeley Place was good. The staff was nice. They were very concerned. They showed me one of the rooms. The room was nice, but the neighborhood was not as nice as some of the other places that I toured. The establishment was quite older compared to others. They were located a little bit close to the interior of downtown. The place itself was clean. It was old, like it's been around a while. They did say that they are going do a remodel, change the carpet, and do some painting to bring it a little more up to date. I was thinking that since it's an older building, they can probably be a little more flexible with the rates because this facility is expensive.

My uncle moved into Holiday Greeley Place. He is 89 years old and blind, and now they're going to stop all food delivery to the rooms. He's just living in his room because he can't see to go anywhere else. We have senior helpers that come in the morning and in the evening to help him with his evening meals, but we share the burden of being down there every day for lunch to feed him. It was the cheapest place we could get him into, so that's why we took it. He has a studio apartment. It's just one big room and then the bathroom. For him, that's fine. The 1-bedroom apartment that I saw while passing by through the hallway looks adequate that you could live in. Some of the staff are good, and some of them are bad. We have questions for some of them that don't get answered. We have excellent care from the therapist who is not involved with Holiday. They are a separate organization. We love the senior helpers, but they're a separate organization as well. They're supposed to serve three meals a day. When we signed the contract in December, they told us that my uncle could eat in his room and three meals a day would be delivered. Starting February 5th, he has to eat in the dining room. The food is terrible. It is basically independent living but they sold us that they would have people to help him and they had ambassadors that would go visit him and they just made it sound like it was just going to be OK for him. We expressed to them very, very often and firmly that he was blind and they said that was not going to be a problem. But now, they don't follow up.

We toured Holiday Greeley Place and we had a meal there. It was really good and seemed healthy, my kids were with me and they both ate as well and they loved it. The appearance of the place was great. It had a very homey atmosphere and was very clean. They showed me their library, the video room where they watch movies, they showed me all the common areas, and there's one area where they have church services. We also saw the dining room and the rooms.
