Awful place...don’t recommend it to anyone. Its so sad that this place is still around. We had an awful experience there with my grandfather.

It may not be the fanciest, newest building, but it is filled with wonderful, compassionate, hardworking caregivers. I’m an employee and also a recent customer. My 80 year old stepfather had a hip replacement last month and needed some rehab to get back up on his feet safely and independently. I brought him to melrose Healthcare because I know that being cared for and surrounded by knowledgeable, kind people make all the difference in the hard times. Thank you to the amazing rehab team and to all of the staff on the 2nd floor for taking such good care of my guy. He’s back on his feet at home and busy getting after life.

I was impressed to see the accommodation that has been created for outside visiting/sitting. The area is shaded, lovely plants, patriotic flags and located near the entrance which makes for direct access to the ramp and door if inclement weather. This arrangement is very thoughtful for both visitors, residents and companion staff. To the staff and management - thank you for all you are doing during these difficult times. It matters.

My mother has been here for many years and they are taken great care of her. They are doing visits outside which are going great and my mother looks healthy clean and happy also when they do the visits outside it gives her fresh air and they keep us and her safe distance and masked and they check temps and forms to fill but worth it because my mother don''t feel forgotten and my mother can not walk and has limit body movement . Also Martine is doing a great job with this .

This facility is horrible. I have had four family members in nearby facilities that were wonderful, two were in Glenridge in Malden and I would recommend Glenridge to anyone. Unfortunately, visiting Melrose Health was a horrible experience and I pity anyone that has to live there even for one evening. My coworker was evicted from her apartment due to mental health issues and she was forced to live at Melrose health. I felt like I was visiting a homeless shelter for many mentally ill patients who were forgotten and left untreated for their illness. It felt so dirty and I wondered if I would take bedbugs home with me. The parking lot and front of building feel DANGEROUS as it is totally without light at night. I feel bad for patients and employees! It is honestly deplorable...God bless the patients, most will never be helped to regain control of their lives in the future...totally heartbreaking!!
