The hospital picked this place and did not give ma chance to look at it to see if it was acceptable for my mother. The place was AWFUL. Dark, dirty - basically silent. NOONE was observing COVID protocols, No one expected my mom. The room that we were told she was to be in was occupied. Basically, this place was the nightmare nursing home you read about. I didn’t have any of my mom’s pain meds so there wasn’t much I could do about it that night – it broke my heart to leave her there. I spent the morning on the phone finding another place and getting my mom''s meds and went to sign her out the next day. I was approached by 2 admins(without masks) asking my why I was signing my mother out - it felt very confrontive. I had to take off work and cared for my mother in my home for 5 days until I could get her into an appropriate, acceptable rehab facility. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

I''ve partnered with Envoy for around 7 months and I''ve been pleasantly surprised with what I''ve seen and who I''ve met. I work in long term care and with a few other facilities. I heard the rumors about this center and did not have high expectations when I discovered that I''d be working with them. Boy was I wrong! New management took over about 4 months ago and they have made huge differences. Staff is being held to a higher expectation and providing a higher acuity of care. The facility Is clean and smells wonderful. Behaviors with the residents have dramatically improved especially over the last 3 months. The new director of nursing is actually in NP and what an asset that has been to the facility! Envoy has as made some positive changes and I''d love to see it continue. Much success in the future!
