I will admit, I made the mistake of reading the reviews and not visiting Casa Mora in person. Don''t be like me! Take a tour and you will see the difference between this facility and others. I had to move my mother from another facility that was not feeding their residents adequately. I read the reviews here and didn''t even consider it. While searching for a place for my mother I had nurses at three different agencies tell me to consider Casa Mora, pop in and take a tour and I would be very surprised. I followed the recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. They have even received an award by the state for Quality care! Working with the staff, I had my mother moved quickly. In the couple of weeks she has been here I have seen a multitude of medical staff examine my mother and treat her with the respect she deserves. She is receiving therapy that the other facility failed to do even once. I drop in at different times of the day and always catch someone doing things right!! So far I couldn''t be happier with the care she is receiving!! Don''t let this or any other review determine your decisions when selecting a facility. Trust your gut, if you suspect something is wrong it usually is! Visit often and respect all those that are caring for your loved one when you are not there.

From the admissions process to rehab, clinical, administrative, nursing, and floor staff, I have found everyone to be kind, caring, dedicated and truly patient oriented at South Shore. They have activities everyday and their rehabilitation program is outstanding! They keep me well-informed of my mother’s treatment, progress, and clinical needs and changes. I am so impressed and very grateful for the level of communication and quality of care they provide at South Shore.
