Please please fix the food issue. The food is absolutely horrendous and inedible. My grandparents are suffering and having to spend hundreds to supplement/replace their meals that they pay for. For the price of this place, this isn’t fair.
We have a family member there. We have been blocked from visiting or calling. They said she can have no visitors mail or phone calls. We tried to visit on valentines and were told to leave. This place is a prison. Very very sad. My aunt is 80 years old. And could live like this for the next 15 Years...

Ambience and elegance always come to mind every time I visit Freedom Village of Bradenton! The residents are extremely friendly and always tell me they wished they had moved there sooner. It’s actually a very common sentiment when you talk to folks there. I cannot recommend enough talking to Abby in the administrative office… She is a wealth of information and would be happy to explain what sets their community apart from the others, and, of course, give you a tour! Definitely stop by the café for some tasty food while you were there. If you are looking for a CCRC community, this is hands-down at the top of my list of places I would visit.

I compare it to a high end luxury hotel with exceptionally compassionate and attentive staff. The overall experience of having my mother who had severe dementia and cancer was exceptional. They cared for her as one would care for your own mother, sister or wife. Big smiles, calm relaxing settings and companionship. You cannot go wrong if caring for your loved one is a priority. Well done Freedom Village, we will never forget you.
