My mom is in Brookstone’s Enhanced Living quarters. Since she has been there I have felt confident in her well being. She has severe dementia and they take care of her so well. They listen and address our family concerns and are very patient answering all our questions. I would highly recommend Brookstone to anyone looking for a kind efficient and clean place!,, thank you Brookstone staff for taking great care of our mom. Karen

I didn't feel that BrookStone Assisted Living was warm and fuzzy. It just seemed kind of old and thrown together. The staff was excellent. The rooms looked very ordinary, but they were fine. There was a lounge that they could use to watch TV and then there was a nice little sun porch. The memory care side was very secure, and I think they had enough employees who could take care of any incident. I just think the interior could have been more welcoming.

The management at Brookstone is awesome to work with. The communication with the family is great and I feel like I could call them at any time and get answers to any questions that I might have. The nursing staff is very attentive to my father's needs. He enjoys having church service on Sunday and enjoys having meals with the friends that he has made at the facility. They are very kind to him and keep his room in order and he is very happy because he has the ability to keep his pet with him.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, but sometimes too timid. Mostly lovely Marshallese people. They are very caring and capable. With my father's Dementia, they need to tell him instead of ask, such as today is your shower day, not do you want a shower. Let me help you to the bathroom instead of do you need to use the restroom. The meals are good quality and there's a nice selection of choices for each meal. The activities are lacking, but the Activities Director tries hard to provide opportunities. Dad's room is usually clean, however I've been known to clean the bathroom on their off days. It is cleaned by them once a week or as needed. There has not been much need for communication, as I am here with him 4-7 days a week. I would recommend this facility to others. There are some residents who have been here 7-15 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. They are happy and very content with their care.
Read moreWe toured Brookstone and it was number two on our list of top choices. If my loved one's Dementia progresses, we will probably move her here. The assistant that I worked with during the tour was very nice. I spoke with the Director by phone but he never followed up with us.
