I feel bad giving Bridgewater one star. If I could I would give no stars. My dad had a great experience in the Rehab section in December of 2022. He returned to the assisted living side on 9/23. His care was awful. One morning I came to visit and he was in a soiled diaper with a sheet with no clothes. Our family paid for the "Cadallic" care for my dad as it was sold to us. That didn''t happen. He ended up falling out of his hospital bed that we provided and went to the ER. He died 4 days later. The food there is awful BTW. If you are far away and can''t monitor your mom or dad. Don''t put them here.

I wanted to make this post on behalf of my mom and give credit to a few people. One being the nursing directing Rochelle who is completely amazing and a wonderful human being who truly cares. She was there for us whenever we needed anything. The PT and OT staff, especially Alec and Steve. These guys were AMAZING at caring for and helping my mom get stronger. Wonderful team who truly cares and were truly involved. The reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is due to some of the care my mom received with certain nurses and aids but, this is why I speak so highly of the nursing director because I could go to her for anything. However there are some very good nurses and aids also. The other reason I won’t give five stars is due to the business dept who tried to get my mom removed from the facility after her 100 days were over due to us not having her approved yet for coverage to stay a little longer on the long term side after being on the rehabilitation side. I had to fight for my mom to be able to stay here in order to get well so we didn’t have to move her around being so sick. I was yelled at by Lynn who runs the business dept and not treated well by her at all. Thank goodness I knew the laws and my moms rights. But the fact that the nursing director and the therapy group were so amazing, the good outweighed the bad. My mom was able to make a full recovery and Come home after a long painful 8 months. It’s a beautiful facility that is kept clean. I will forever be thankful for Rochelle (the nursing director) and the therapy my mom received. My mom is home and doing well. Bridgwater played a big role in nursing her back to health and getting her physically strong again. Thank you for that Bridgwater and thank you to Dr Beeble and Tima Peterson who were my moms amazing doctor and nurse practitioner. Two truly amazing people as well who truly do care.

This review references the rehab side of things. I can''t speak to assisted living. It''s a beautiful place but mom did not get adequate care there. Will post more details later but would not recommend. Especially for anyone on a special diet, or who cannot be closely watched by family members nearby. I agree with the other reviews that talk about this, especially the food. They aren''t just being picky. Mom did not get adequate nutrition there which was necessary for her recovery. They did keep her clean and changed, and I appreciate all the aides who were involved in her care. Especially the first one, she was just great and I cannot remember her name! The rest of the care was disorganized and other things she needed did not get to her, despite multiple attempts on my part to make that happen. In the end, I needed to pull her out for her own safety. There are many more details but for now just know that my review is pretty place, but the care is disorganized and unless you can very closely watch your loved one to make sure they are getting what they need (even then it didn''t work in my case), and also they are not on a special diet that needs to be managed, I cannot recommend this facility.
