Atria San Juan offers three levels of care: independent living, assisted living and memory care. Independent living takes care of chores like housekeeping, cooking and cleaning, allowing residents complete freedom to engage with the community and pursue interests. Assisted living is designed for seniors who want independence but also need a little extra assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) like dressing, grooming, bathing or eating. Assisted Living residents can also get help with medications, physician appointments, and extra services like ostomy care, diabetes management, catheters, nebulizer, and oxygen management.

Floor plans for independent and assisted living range from studios to two-bedroom, two-bath suites with double vanities, balconies and kitchenettes. Utilities, meals, 24/7 staffing, transportation and housekeeping are all included in the price. 

For older adults who need a higher level of assistance, there’s Life Guidance Memory Care. It aims to help seniors with Alzheimer’s and other forms of memory loss live engaged, fulfilling lives. Mom spent 8 years in assisted living at another facility. For the most part, it was. . . . Just ok, but we felt she was safe. Management was poor, caregiver staff was as good as they could be and were trained to be. After multiple uti’s which constantly went undected until mutiple trips to the hopital cleared them up, we moved her to their memory care. She was there for 12 monthsw. She quickly declined further. Long story/short, after another 5 day stay in the hospital we moved mom to atria san juan memory care in march 2015; on hospice (at the hospital doctors recomendation). We specifically chose atria because we finally heard where jennifer frost had gone! She is fabulous. She has great staff. Well trained, caring, supportive to both mom and our family. Things have gone so well here at atria san juan, that mom “graduated” from hospice in june! She participates in art class, tv watching with other resdents (stays awake), some exercise classes to the best of her ability and other organized activities. She loves it here and we are just sorry we didn’t find atria, jennifer and her entire staff sooner. Mom could not be getting better care anywhere, and we are so grateful. Not only is the facility gorgreous aesthetically but the staff is overly kind and considerate and you can see that they genuinely care about all of their residents and truly love what they do. I honestly can say that i have not seen this level of professionalism mixed with enjoyment at any of the other assisted living facilities i go to. I highly recommend atria san juan to everyone i meeet with that are interested in seeing assisted living facilities in the area to potentially move their loved ones to, based solely on the fact that i know they will be cared for above and beyond their expectations. The executive director, lori panaro, is bar none the best director i have worked with.
