Holiday Ashley Park is a small community, which I like. I had a good feeling when I walked in. The people that manage it and run it are very nice and very helpful. There are two companies that help individuals who need extra help, which we use for my mother. They have good food and good activities. They're remodeling at present time which will take about six months, but they still make everything work fine for the meals downstairs and all. It has been a really good experience. My mother is there for independent living, but they offer extra companies you can hire that are there 24/7 to assist people who need extra help. She has a studio apartment. The studios can be situated differently, but basically the same footage. We upgraded a little bit for her to have a view of the courtyard. The staff members are wonderful.

My wife and I visited this facility and were super impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Emily gave us a tour and I can honestly say the rooms and common areas are well cared for. We were told renovations are coming soon which is a bonus, plus you can''t beat the affordability of the place compared with other quotes we received. Overall, excited to hopefully move our grandfather in soon, so he can enjoy all the amenities for himself.

The staff and residents are very friendly. That is the only positive, nice thing I can say about this place. I moved my mom in on June 1, 2023. Within 10 days she was very sick with bronchitis. Being the only daughter and caregiver, I am proud to say I have kept my 88 year old mother very healthy for 3+ years, after my daddy''s passing. Not a sniffle or cough! During the week of her becoming ill, we had many days of thunderstorms, and heavy rains. I began to notice buckets placed out in the common areas, and hallway near her apartment #303, to catch the rain water. After becoming more aware of her surroundings, started noticing black mold rings and termite tunnels on the ceilings in the hallway near her apartment. Her apartment had an odd smell, but I assumed it was because it had been vacant for awhile. The smell was definitely coming from the circulated air conditioning unit in the apartment. I am extremely upset with the manager, of the community, feeling very mislead, misinformed. Emily said there was going to be renovations in the near future. The building needs way more than a cosmetic makeover. Yes, the carpet in the hallways is disgusting and dirty. Walls need a fresh coat of paint. But, the problems go further than what meets the eyes initially. There is a severe moisture/mold problem in that building, which made my mom sick. BEWARE!!! Do NOT move your loved ones into this community!!! Until they have done needed repairs, renovations, it is NOT worth the headache and heartache to set your relative up for a potential serious illness!!! Thankfully, after moving my mom out, she fully recovered, after about a month. It is a complete shame that they have neglected the buildings'' interior and exterior. It could potentially be a great place to retire.

Holiday Ashley Park is a good place. It could use an update of the carpeting in the public areas. Other than that, it's pretty nice. I've met some great people here so far. The meals are given on time, and it's pretty good. The dining room is nice, and the activities are great. I just recently joined a choir. There's also a dance class here. I just got here, so I haven't really participated in a lot of activities. The move-in process was pretty easy and straightforward. I have a one-bedroom apartment, and the layout is ideal for me. I love the fact that the bathroom is actually inside the bedroom. The appliances, the refrigerator, and the apartment were cleaned upon my entry. The transportation to get to my doctor's appointment is one of my major concerns. What I was told is not what it actually turns out to be. So, that was a huge, huge disappointment.

I've visited Holiday Ashley Park. They're independent living but they have a service where you pay for nursing separately onsite. We talked to the head of the nurse staff there who was willing to talk with you and wasn't scared of the multiple things my brother had going on. We took a tour and the facility was great. The salesperson was very knowledgeable, they all seemed to know the residents by name. She gave us various multiple options of rooms that seemed very nice. we were looking mostly at 1-bedrooms, and the 1-bedrooms were very nice-sized. I saw the residents playing balloon volleyball, they seemed in good spirits. We did some more true touring and when we got back, they were having ice cream. It seemed like a nice mix of ages. The cafeteria or dining hall seemed big and seemed like there were a lot of food options. The staff also did a follow-up on us after the visit.
