My mother and I have been very pleased with her long-term care at A.G. Rhodes. We have met many wonderful nurses and very caring CNA''s. They always keep me informed on her care, and I can reach out if I have any questions. At AG Rhodes they plan fun activities for seniors such as bingo, and they also have exceptional music and horticultural therapy programs. John Abel, the Director of Music therapy, is kind and friendly, and plays his guitar while the group gathers around joyfully for sing-alongs and special requests. I have seen the faces of the residents light up with delight at this time of music and singing together. Kirk Hines, the brilliant Director of Horticultural Therapy, not only helps seniors to plant and grow, but uses the opportunity of his time together with the elders to teach them. I enjoy seeing the residents coming back from horticultural therapy with beautiful flowers in their laps, and those who can no longer garden independently, certainly look forward to Friday afternoons. In addition to that, Kirk Hines maintains the therapeutic garden complete with a pergola surrounded by plants and flowers. The front of AG Rhodes at Wesley Woods has benches, tables and chairs and is a beautiful, relaxing place which makes for a nice place to visit with loved ones outside when the weather is nice.

My mother stayed here for rehab for 3 weeks. She felt the care was top notch.
I would like to first say that this facility is amazing and does a great job taking care of my loved one. However, the reason why I provided a one star rating is due to the receptionist Tammy. Tammy provides poor customer service, and has a subpar attitude and lack of compassion needed for this role...
I would like to first say that this facility is amazing and does a great job taking care of my loved one. However, the reason why I provided a one star rating is due to the receptionist Tammy. Tammy provides poor customer service, and has a subpar attitude and lack of compassion needed for this role. Tammy blatant refuse to assistant the residents or the family of residents. When you ask her a question she replies and I quote" I can''t help, I''m not going to, and you''ll have to find someone else to do it". I understand we are in a pandemic and protocols are drastically changing so she might not have current information, however her consist bad attitude and refusal to assist has gotten me to the point of considering of removing my love one from this facility.
