This is a terrible place, the staff don''t pay attention to Transitional Care patients there, my mom is currently recovering from an arm fracture and infection, she calls the nurse to help her to go to the restroom or bring her something to the room and they come 3 hours after, also her meds are given 3 to 4 hours later than she is supposed to take them at night. I have looked for other places and this is the only one available. I talked to the social worker there and she said if I don''t like it I can take my mom somewhere else. It is a nightmare what we are facing now.

Our Mother was in the Memory Transitional Care Unit for two weeks recently. The Nurses, Aids, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists were all TOP NOTCH! They are knowledgable , friendly and caring and they treated our Mom with love and compassion. She received GREAT care during the day. I would definitely give the day shift 5 stars but the night shift is another matter. I know there’s a worker shortage but there is a stark difference between the evening and day shifts. There simply is not enough help at night and they definitely need more oversight. Fortunately my sister and I live close by so we were able to take turns going up there each night but that’s just not an option for many people and that’s a problem. The meals always arrived cold so ask to have it reheated the minute they bring it in. But overall, our Mom made great strides and came out much stronger than we anticipated due to the wonderful care and therapy she received during the days she was there. Prior to needing TCU, we had met with Sarah, the Director of Marketing, to get information about assisted living/memory care. She is so kind and compassionate and took the time to answer all our questions, give us a tour and also took the time to meet with us on subsequent pop-in visits when we were in tears. Anticipating having to put your Mother in a care facility comes with so many emotions and Sarah patiently answered all our questions and helped us understand that our Mom would probably thrive with all the extra activities, exercise, spiritual care, etc. that would be available to her in assisted living vs at home. We are so grateful for Sarah’s help!

I heard nothing but horrible things about the employees of this place, my grandmother was a patient here and had nothing good to say about the place. (Edit) It''s been a year since I wrote this and I still hear about night time nurses being abusive to the elderly patients, you people disgust me.
