My family and I are very grateful for the team at Williamsburg. They welcomed my dad with open arms and have been doing an excellent job taking care of him. We are grateful for the directors, managers, nurses, caregivers, aides, cooks, etc. in the North building. Everyone has been very empathetic, kind, patient and understanding. Ms. Jessica, Ms. Tonya, and Ms. Jamila are very professional and have gone above and beyond to assure that my dad is in good care. We have been to multiple facilities and I am very happy that we chose here. Thanks again for all that you do.

If I could give this facility 0 stars, I would......my father was in this facility from August 2021, until he passed away in July 2022. The staff - unprofessional, the cleanliness - nonexistent. I should have known better about the facility 2 weeks into my father being a resident. He hadn''t been bathed in over a week, and when my mother spoke to an administrator about it, she questioned my mother as if she had a reason to lie about my father having a foul odor and telling us himself that he hadn''t been bathed. Call lights are left on for hours, yet there is staff at the nurses'' station eating, on their phones, or simply socializing. You ask them for assistance, and you''re made to feel like you''re a bother. Don''t get me wrong, there are a few good staff members out the bunch, but there were so many bad ones that it''s hard to see those good ones. I requested on more than one occasion to start the process to have my father transferred to another facility, and always got the run around. Communication with family is nonexistent.....My father was sent to the ER on July 14th, and by July 19th....he had passed away. Do you think I so much as received a phone call from the facility to be notified that he needed emergent attention? NO I did not. No one communicated anything with me, and by the time I found out he was in the ER, he had been placed on a ventilator. I write this review in hopes that changes are made to this facility. Family members entrust skilled nursing facilities to take care of their loved ones when they are unable to do so, and it''s a shame to know that people sign up to work in places like this, just to do the bare minimum. I no longer have my father here, so the most I can do is enlighten others about our experience. If you have a loved one in need of skilled nursing facility care, do yourself a favor and skip over this establishment, and find somewhere else!
