Very disappointed in the quality of care in Assisted Living. My mother lived there for over a year. Assisted living staff was unhelpful when dealing with issues. She was unable to get to the dining room independently and staff did nothing to help her get to the dining room. Even after asking for her meals to be delivered and agreeing to pay the delivery fee, she only got meals when a staff person bothered to help her fill out the menus. When brought to the Assisted Living administration, they were unconcerned and blamed the issue on my mother. Also, got conflicting instructions when I asked the Clinical Coordinator there to assist with a lymphedema wrap. After I was told that assistance with the wrap was added to her care plan, I was told at a later date by the manager that I would need a doctor''s order. Why wasn''t that explained to me by the administrator that told me it had been added to the care plan? My mother had a stroke . I had to leave a message for the Assisted Living manager to explain that she was being admitted to the hospital and would not be returning that day, she never called me back. When I finally got the receptionist, the AL Administrator would not even get on the phone with me. My mom was in the hospital for a month and not one person at Williamsburg Landing even called to ask how she was! My mother had a terrible experience there. It is not at all worth the high entrance fees! We are now at a much more reasonably priced, Assisted Living facility and the care is exceptionally better.

Classy place , very clean very quiet. Kind of place you''d want to be for relaxing into your years.
I work at Williamsburg landing and it is one of the best and sophisticated homes out there
Worked here for a little while in the dining room and I will tell you from first hand experience.. HUGE FLYING roaches all over the place including under tables, usually dead. Worked here for a little while in the dining room and I will tell you from first hand experience.. HUGE FLYING roaches all over the place including under tables, usually dead. Servers use their hands for almost EVERYTHING, no gloves or covering. Managers almost NEVER working and servers talk HORRIBLY about the company and other workers. The servers base their day off of who they have to serve and when they get “the worst” tables, the things they say about residents is ridiculous. That place is falling apart and its very disgusting. Oh… The ants.. they are sometimes in the drink dispensers but nobody cares. Decent facility over all and plenty of activities and it seems everyone knows everyone and new residents make friends real easy!!
