Prior to moving in we speak with you and your physician to find just the right level of assistance that will allow you to enjoy your independence to the fullest. Together, we will compose an Individual Service Plan (ISP) to guide us in assisting you. Our mission is to provide a lifestyle that fosters independence, actively engages the mind, invigorates the body and nurtures the spirit while offering you and your loved ones the peace of mind you deserve. Join us for our dementia support group meetings on the first and third Wednesday of each month. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
While some communities insist on new residents putting down huge, non-refundable payments up-front, we like to do things a little differently. We care about not only the physical and emotional well being of our residents, but their financial health as well. I liked the Wildflower Lodge Assisted Living and Memory Care Community's location because it's in proximity to where I live. I liked that it seemed like a fairly modern facility and it was clean. They had a nice courtyard. The layout was good because what I am looking for is a one bedroom and they had one-bedrooms available versus just a studio. The staff seemed good. A lot of them were relatively new, which was OK. They did good and they answered all my questions. I liked their dining area. They had several dining areas, one common area, and then another room for those that needed additional assistance, which I liked. They just did not have an exercise room that I saw.
Read moreMy mom moved into the Wildflower Lodge Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. I liked their personnel. They seem to be caring, and they keep us informed. They are very gentle with my mom. They have games and interactions. After we communicated better with them their care has been good.
I feel like this community did a very good job. This community is expensive but I feel like you are paying for a lot of services overall and they are competitive with all of the other places. My loved one had good care at this community and I would recommend this community for you or your loved one....

I went there often to visit my Aunt, she and others were yelling for help, they pushed their call buttons but no one showed up to help, I had to help her and other residents on and off the toilet because no one was around checking on them, they were all visiting at the front desk, one lady was at the desk begging to be taken to the toilet, no one helped her so I did. seems to be no house keeping, I had to buy a toilet brush and cleaner to scrub out the toilet that had poop all over it for days, and the toilet was coming loose from the floor, food containers everywhere, I had to hunt down a few garbage bags to clean up the mess, the few times I did see an assistant they were pleasant but those times were far and few between, all the years I have worked in health care I have never seen such a poor quality of care, being they are pretty much the only facility in town I guess they can get away with not doing their jobs, being short staffed is not a good excuse and you can only use the COVID thing so much, there are agencies that they could call, the state should go unannounced and stay for a week

Life is more than a room. Life is more than someone who has no experience to take care of you. Employees who do not know the medication they are giving to a person. It is wrong. Life is important and how we handle people who need our help is very important. Feeding them meals that are not bags of potatoe chips and being told that this is their vegetable today. Looking and tasting food that is completely undesirable many days out of the week is not a good life. Food that is salty or to much sugar that is not good for most older persons. Hurts their bodies and their minds. Cheap is not the best way. Wearing gloves is very important during Covid times. This should be done for every person there. Medication should be on time and not 3 or more days out where the resident is in danger without their medication. Everyone smiles while others are dying in my opinion. Money, Money, Money is important I realize but shouldn't the residents get what they pay for. Medication on time, a warm meal that is nourshing and not disgusting, protection from covid by wearing gloves with everything they handle, clean rooms, help and compassion not threats. How afraid do you want your family to be that is the question. How much care do you want for them. Do you really Care?
