Skilled nursing there I did not have good experiences w my Aunt or Dad. Some black Jamaican staff resented caring for whites. That was over ten years ago. Maybe that has changed.

My parents moved to Westminster last year. The staff has been amazing, especially in my mother’s final days in the skilled nursing area. The nurses and CNAs, the DON, even the business manager were gracious and helpful. I felt that my mom had excellent care. One of the reasons my parents moved there was to be able to be close even if they were in different areas. My dad was able to visit my mom (even in the middle of the night!) and that was a gift. It’s a caring community and I am so happy that dad is there now with his neighbors supporting him as a new widower. Thank you everyone!

Failing the residence on all aspects of housing, and not paying employees or contractors on a timely basis. Truly the most poorly managed housing facility for seniors. My mother has lived here independently for 10 years and has pretty much enjoyed it. However, due to a number of recent hospital stays, she has been in their health center for the past few weeks. The last time she was released from the hospital she required wound care for a severe pressure wound. Daily she was left sitting in a wheelchair waiting for someone to answer her call button and help her back into bed where they finally had an air mattress to help with the wound. In less than a month she is back in the hospital for surgery on the wound. So, under their care it got worse to the point of needing surgery. Every negative comment concerning the health center is absolutely correct. I have witnessed all that they have stated every time I visit my mom. I will be pursuing these issues further. I do not believe that the standard of care was met concerning her wound.
