I wish I could give them a zero, without going into everything. I will just say this If you have a family In this horrible place you need to get them out now, my dad was in there and I have had to call adult protective services, and they are coming tomorrow, he was sooo sick when I took him out of there, he has diabetes that was not taking care of , and copd that wasn’t being treated, his oxygen was 80 when I took him to the hospital, the dr said it would have probably would have died real quick from all this !! STAY AWAY!! Also when I got my dad out, There was a a patient outside as I was leaving that told me there was a lot of crooked stuff going on in there and she gave me I guess it is a family members phone number and asked me to call them. It’s awful 😡

I would highly recommend West End Retirement Center for your loved one. They are very compassionate and caring while also giving your loved one the independance and dignity of their golden years. My dad was here for 3 years and took very good care of him. Also provided meals and snacks anything they needed or requested. The facility has a home environment not your typical Assisted Living home that feels like a hospital . Beautiful outside scenery in a country and welcome atmosphere . I am shocked at the negative posting I saw from my relative Carol White. You know how families are and this was a personal attack against me and not the facility . Highly recommend for your loved ones!

My mother has been with the Owens family for eight years. She is well taken care of and daily the staff go beyond the usual care of a assisted living facility. My mother is a diabetic who needs insulin. They not only make sure that she gets her insulin but also monitors her sugar levels and her other medications daily. The doctors that she sees are pleased with the care she receives at West End. I am always informed by the staff if they have any medical concerns about my mother’s health. I know that she is well taken care of and I know that my mom is treated like family. The facility is and older home but it is always very clean and meets all state and federal requirements. I am a retired teacher so I know about government regulations. They help her with all of her personal hygiene needs and laundry. They encourage her daily to walk and continue to remain mobile.I take my mother to the doctor and out for a meal or other excursions. She is always ready to go back “home” to West End at the end of our trips. The owners and staff do an excellent job with my mom and other clients. I visit the facility often and always find it clean, good meals being served and staff interacting with the clients as if they were family. My mother could never receive better care. She feels safe, comfortable and loved. I am so thankful for the owners and staff. I would recommend West End to anybody who wants a loving home environment for their loved one.

I’m just going to be honest. Sometimes people just have no good place to go in life. Thank God for West End Retirement!!!! I was a home health nurse with a non affiliated agency that frequented West End several times a week and this home was literally always my favorite stop!!!! I love everything about the place. This family truly makes a home for these people. A real home, with real dinners, and real compassionate love. I love everything about West End. The administration is sincerely genuine to make sure peoples needs are met to the best of their ability. Amber makes sure medically they have everything they need and advocates that they get the best care no matter what! Alex fixes EVERYTHING!!!! The first time I met Alex he was sitting around in work boots talking to a patient drinking a cup of coffee like he was sitting around a family table hanging out. I thought he was a volunteer because Iv never seen an administrator hanging out for pleasure. It feels like a ministry loving people more than it feels like a buisness and that is a rare rare thing these days. The girls that cook really cook!! Iv seen amber through a pizza party just because!!! The home is gorgeous and they have had the chance to sell out many times but their heart is in creating a home for the people they care for. This is a home where there are good days and bad days, like every real family has, but you cannot mistake the genuine sincere compassion and joy. I was so blessed to be a part of this beautiful group of people and miss them dearly. Have no doubt. This is a special place for someone you love.
