The Willows of Easley was good, just a bit further away. They're very personable. They sat down and talked to me the whole time. It was probably the most dated, but it was clean. I thought the staff was really good. The strong point for The Willows of Easley was their staff, their people, and the attention. The individual apartments were a little bit smaller and not fresh. Some were carpeted. It could use some facelift maybe. They were doing some gospel singing when I was there.

We toured The Willows of Easley. They were very helpful and very nice, but at this time, my mother needed more help than they could give her there because it was basically assisted living and she had to be able to do more on her own. But they told me at any point when she was able, they would be more than happy to have her. It was very much like home. It was set up very comfortably. They were eating lunch while we were there, and the food looked really good. The room that they showed me was a private. It was set up very nicely. They had call buttons everywhere. If the resident needed to call someone, they had a call button within their reach, no matter where they were in the room (or even in the bathroom), and I like that. We toured with two different ladies, and they were very nice, very helpful, and they told us if there was anything they could do to help us to let them know.

I’m not sure I can put in to words how much The Willows of Easley means to me and my family. When I lost my Dad and we had to look for assisted living for my Mom, I knew it had to be The Willows. My husband’s aunt had called The Willows home for her last few years of life and I witnessed first hand how lovingly she was cared for. Even to the point of the staff attending her funeral. So when faced with care for my Mom, I knew I wanted the same care for her as our aunt had received. We moved Mom in today and it was like coming back home. The staff welcomed us with open arms and when I came home I had a feeling of peace knowing she is in great hands. Bottom line is the staff actually cares….rare trait these days. Laura, Teresa, Heather and the rest of the staff will not disappoint if you’re looking for a home instead of just a facility…..Donna and Gary Nations
