We had chosen WellQuest of Granite Bay for my mom. The tour was good. I was very impressed with it. They showed us a unit. We're going to bring in our own furniture though. They're very nicely equipped, but in memory care, they don't have a kitchen. They have a very nice outdoor area. They even take the residents out on walks. They have trails, and they can do exercises in the heated swimming pool. The dining room is amazing, and the food is really good. And, as a participant, you can pay for lunch or dinner and then you can have a meal with your parent. The staff who toured us was great. She was very knowledgeable. There's nothing available right now, so we are on a waiting list for memory care. It's fine though because we don't want to do it till July anyway. It's pretty brand new, so everything is nice. I also like that outside each door, there's a little showcase where the residents can put in their memorabilia, so they can find their room, and in the memory care they always have somebody with them. I think that's pretty nice to have that.

My Mother has been living here since July 2021. We've always been quite happy with her new home. Recently she was knocking at death's door. The staff went the X-tra mile and wouldn't give up. They came up with new ways to entice her to eat, brought her out of her room to be with people and when she couldn't lift her fork, fed her. We are sure that they are very much a part of what gave her the oomph to keep going. We can't thank them enough! I recommend you coming in and seeing the smiling faces. You'll be greeted by BB at the front desk who, will make you feel welcome. It's a wonderful place!

My father has lived here for four months now. I work from his room, so I know what goes on every day, Monday - Friday. The care staff is always very friendly and cheerful. They seem to have a sincere concern about my dad’s well being. They are patient and kind. The management was very thorough and understanding when I visited. The food is restaurant-style excellent! My dad and I are both very pleased with our choice to have him live here. He told me the other day, “I’m pretty well cared for!” I’m so glad we both feel he is in a safe and happy home. I would recommend this place to all who have a parent/relative that means the world to you! They are in good hands at WellQuest of Granite Bay!

I went to WellQuest of Granite Bay. Overall, it was very good. The facilities are practically new. So it was well-appointed and it was similar to the other places I saw. They all looked very nice. But once again, this one had no furniture or no furnished rooms, so I took them off my list because of that. I would give them an overall rating of one because they don't have furnished rooms. The staff was OK. It's a building that's relatively narrow as it faces the road and it goes way, way, far back, and that's a place you can get lost in just walking around. I walked through the dining area, it was OK. They have a garden.

It's a brand new place that opened up in May. They've provide a lot of support and activities for our loved one. The food is wonderful, and the nutrition is so much better than when she was living by herself. We've used their onsite medical concierge, which has been working out very well. They're very accommodating about whatever it is you're needing to do. Like everything, it depends on the individual personnel, but I've been very impressed with them. They call me back and have been very responsive. They call me if there's anything they need to discuss. Especially with our loved one in memory care, we appreciate that they have an app called LifeLoop where you can see what activities your loved one is participating in and see photos of them. Their memory care unit is still pretty small at about 7-8 people (with room for about 20-25), and they're finding all sorts of ways to keep them involved. They've had them teach their memory care group how to do something - singing, Farkle, etc. It's been a really good experience so far.
