The meals they provide are good. They have a treadmill, but I don't see anybody use it. They have a library, a recreation room, and a screened in room. It is amazing all the things that they have here. They also have underground parking, which is nice. Everything's good. There are many activities.

Overall I thought Villa Santa Barbara was very nice. It’s an older facility, and a little rougher around the edges / more worn in term of visual appearance. That wasn't a deterrent for us though. For us, it was more about the services. For my mom at the time, it didn’t have the equipment that she needed for her rehab stay - she needed an adjustable hospital bed. They also didn't have in-house physical therapy.

They assessed her as a level 1 care when she came in, but then she declined very quickly and needed more care than they were able to provide. They did their best to try and work with us especially financially and we appreciated that.
