This is the worse place. My father had such horrible care here. He would call for a nurse and it would take over 40 minutes for some one to come in. He had a diabetic sore on his back when he came to this facility it was a pencil size. A month later it became a softball size. He was not moved in different positions every 2 hours. When he came in they where told what kind of wheel chair he needed also a air bed mattress, It took a month to find. it was brought in after complaining to the head nurse and OT .The CNA un plugged my fathers bed to plug his razor in. It was his daughter who found that mistake and was lied to when the CNA said she plugged his bed back in. It was my sister who plugged it in. His false teeth had so much glue that it took 30 minutes to get it off his teeth. He had sores on his gums and tongue. There is so much more that my father had going on while he was there it is sickening that and elderly person was treated the way he was. When my father came to this place he was talking sitting in a chair and enjoying watching tv and talking to people. He was planning to go back home because he was to have a procedure on his foot. That was never done because they didn’t follow through with it. He was a kind and generous man he didn’t deserve this.or the family that trusted the facility to take care of our father then to see the stress on his face. we removed him from this place he was rushed to the hospital he had infections that hospitalized him he was diagnosed with shingles and we where never told he had this, and he lost his life in sept.please look into this place before you make your decisions. The facility has not had a state inspection check before Covid.I would hate for another family go through what we did.

A nursing home is sometimes a difficult place to visit. It isn''t easy to see our loved ones decline due to age or health issues. But the staff at Valley View make the situation so much better. They treat the patients kindly and with great respect - even when they don''t know you''re watching. They seem happy to work there and that definitely translates to happier residents. When you need assistance, you never have to search for someone to help. All in all, they do a great job of caring.
