Posting for resident Donna Martin. I like it here. The staff and residents are very nice friendly, make you feel wanted, without that you might feel alone.
Was told the first time in when we were looking that you were locked into a set price. When we went in we were told that each year it would go up between 2 and 6 per cent a year.

I didn't like Holiday Chateau de Boise at all. It was old and dumpy. The dining hall was nice. The guy who gave us the tour was awful. He was a salesman. It wasn't assisted living so it didn't meet our needs, and we kind of wanted to leave and he kept trying to sell it. The room was old and dumpy. Everything in it was old. It should have been remodeled, but it was the cheapest, which made sense. The outdoors were OK. It was decent.

I didn't like Holiday Chateau de Boise. You go to a central location for lunches and dinners. It was highly overpriced for what they offered for a place to live. They were small rooms. They had an open cafeteria and you order off of a certain menu. I just didn't care for the setup or the person that interviewed me. I did not like the area it was in. Dining was restaurant style. I saw people sitting outside talking and people had their animals with them. It was clean. I just didn't like the way the building was, the setup, or anything. I did not feel comfortable there and the parking was horrible.

Brian was the one who gave us the tour of the place and he was a nice person.

Holiday Chateau de Boise is the one that I selected. The tour was great. They gave me all the details, everything I needed, and answered all my questions. I got to view the apartment, and I liked the layout. I liked the price. Everything just came together. The staff did an excellent job, answered all my questions, and worked with me on the financial needs that I have and everything. I'm pretty satisfied with what I saw. They had an exercise room. They have all kinds of activities, karaoke, and just on and on and on. They're very high on the activity level, which is what I like. I'll have quite a bit of opportunities for socialization. That's the primary thing I'm looking for.
