My mother moved into The Windsor of Bradenton. The community is very nice. It's not real big. It's around 46 residents maximum capacity. This is the third assisted living she's been in, and it is by far the best. The food is good. The attention is good. If you need anything, they're right on top of it. All the people that work there seem very friendly and trained well. They are professional in their duties. I recommend this facility to everyone that needs assisted living for their parents or whomever. It's the best place to go, as far as I know in Bradenton. Their rooms are different sizes. It has plenty of room. My mother has a bed. She has a little kitchenette, a table and chairs, and a big TV on top of a dresser. There is room for her wheelchair. It's a good size. It's a smaller room. They also have bigger rooms, and it depends on what the individual person is looking for. There is all kinds of games. They have TV. They take them out to lunch. I'm not sure how frequently in a week they do that. I know they take them to doctor's appointments. They do have a lot of activities for the people to try and keep them busy. They have a beauty salon. They have a library. They have a community room where they can all get together and play cards, puzzles, and what have you. They have an outside patio for when the weather's nice and cooler. They have flowers out there. People sit there, and they can walk around the garden. It's quite nice.

I met Philip at The Windsor of Bradenton. He was extremely outgoing and took me on a very nice tour. He was extremely informative and asked me the questions that they should ask as salespeople to see if I would be a fit for their organization. Based on those answers, they decided to take me on the tour. Everybody I met was very pleasant, both the staff and the residents. It was immaculate. The layout was excellent. Everybody had a beautiful view out the window the way it was laid out. They had a courtyard where you could just go out and relax, and they could have outside affairs (and they did). There was a water fountain that had been damaged. Instead of tearing it out, they turned it into a garden, and it was quite nice. They grew herbs in that area, so it still looked very, very nice. It's an old facility, but you would not know that by touring. They looked modern and up-to-date inside. Even outside when pulling up and entering, they looked modern.

I liked The Windsor of Bradenton the best. The tour was informative, and with COVID happening, it was done with all protocol in place, and it was interesting. The facilities were excellent and the staff was very friendly. I went into the dining area, things were different there too because of COVID, but everyone said the food was good. I liked it because it was small, with less residents. I just think it would suit my friend better, and not to be overwhelmed with a large facility.
Read moreThe Windsor of Bradenton was one of my top choices. It seemed clean and it looked good. They showed me a shared room, but we were looking for a private room for my mother-in-law, and that turned me off from them. The common areas were pretty good.
