From what I saw of Inspired Living at Hidden Lakes, it was very nice. The lady who took us around was very knowledgeable. It was clean. I would say it was beautiful and was well-kept.
The staff at Inspired Living at Hidden Lakes is always changing. There's no consistency. I feel that the care of the residents there is minimal. All of the rooms have locks that are battery controlled, not a very safe when the battery dies. I do not recommend this facility to others.

I went to look at Inspired Living at Hidden Lakes. Their grounds were beautiful. I loved the idea that memory care people could go outside on their own because it was gated, so they could go outside on their own. They had a lot of activities for the residents. The place was very, very clean. It was a very beautiful atmosphere. They had the menu up on the wall, and they said that the cafeteria was open 24 hours a day. If someone didn't like the food, they could order a different food, and I liked that part of it. If somebody was hungry at night, they would bring them food. They seem to care for their people. They had a piano in their front entrance, and one of the ladies from memory care or assisted living was playing it. It was just beautiful the way she was playing the piano. The people working there were so friendly. There was a lady that was doing activities in memory care, and she just seemed to be good. I just like everything about it. The facility was gorgeous inside and out.

I saw Inspired Living at Hidden Lakes and that would be one of my first choices, but unfortunately, I have to come up with too much of the financing out of my pocket, and my husband's 100% VA disabled. So I'm having to use the VA. I liked it because it was cozy and warm and it wasn't clinical, and the staff was very nice. The director was very accommodating, very pleasant, very friendly, and didn't leave any stone unturned. She answered all the questions. The rooms were beautiful and had a nice floor plan. The dining area was fairly large. It's old, but it's been maintained, and it's been redecorated, and hasn't been made to look very modern and very cold. It's just cozy. So it was very nice. That's one of the things that I really liked about it.

I would recommend the facility. I would assure that they knew it was for memory care and not medical care. They have all the activities, such as; bingo, making words from phrases, and similar games. I think that when a loved one is losing their memories, routine is paramount. They use memory boxes outside of each person's room that are filled with photos and memories, so the residents can identify their room. Further, they establish a routine from morning through evening including meal times where all the residents sit at the same table in the same place for each meal.
