Room I saw just wasn't prepared for inspection. Prefer to reserve comment. App't was at 3 PM. No offer of food was made. A cuppa coffee would've been appreciated. My host was most friendly and respectful of my questions. I'm a rookie at this. My first 'tour', and I had many questions that Cory took the time to answer. As I had another app't elsewhere, we needed to cut my visit short. Overall impression was it feels like a OK motel, but not a nice hotel.

The Meadows at Escalante was nice, pleasant, and comfortable. They had a good amount of space, so it felt spacious, and there's plenty of room for people to walk around. The grounds and the appearance of the building were very suitable. They're good. I believe it was a little bit dated, like some of the furnishings and the carpeting. It's not a new facility, but it seemed like it had good caregivers. The gentleman I met was very cordial, very respectful, considerate, and professional. I give him all around good marks. It was actually overall great, but perfect is very hard to come by. The staff I met and toured with did really well. They had some other staff members there that seemed very considerate and kind, as well to the patients that I saw when I was coming through during my tour. Even though everything is in good condition, it's just a little bit dated. It seemed a little bit older, which is OK, and it's not a bad thing, but it was apparent that it just didn't look new.
Read moreI enjoyed the tour experience at The Meadows at Escalante. It was a newer facility and way out of my price range. It felt more like a cold overly modern hotel to us. No handicapped observed, it seemed like a place for higher functioning people.
My mom is a resident in Assisted Living at The Meadows at Escalante. This is not just a facility, this place is a wonderful community! A community that my mom loves and is thriving in! The Staff and the Activities are a 5+. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

For the most part this is a good community. The community can seem disorganized. There are times the staff say they will be right back and then never returns. The staff communication is good as long as the family is being proactive with our communication. There are three meals a day served to the residents. My loved one doesn't like the fact the community doesn't have fresh fruit in the morning. The food has a salty taste to it as well.
