The staff was really nice. The rooms were big, and they had a nice dining area.

Also management doesn’t come out & interact with the residents nor do they help out their staff when they’re short! The building is not very clean, they don’t have a housekeeper & don’t try to help clean the up the building. There’s so many things I can say about this facility honestly

I'm pleased with them. Even if they're not doing a lot, they're always together and they make sure that they are engaged with each other. He gets good care, no matter what suite you're living in. They are all memory care and they do the best they can because they're all a little confused. I'm overall pleased with them. He's had a couple of falls, but to no fault of the community. They made sure to notify me and sent him to emergency room, as they were unsure if he had hit his head.

I had a bad experience by phone last week when I called asking for my W2, the director of the facility answered and it was very clear she had no idea about what she was talking about and when I requested to talk to Miss April, she was very arrogant and said,” someone wants to talk to you”, after I identified myself as a former employee. Definitely she needs to take classes of customer service. What an arrogant woman!!! Even when I told her I had a W2 from Iowa and that I wasn’t sure it was the right one, she said “if the W2 you have says Iowa, it’s us!”, she has no idea who she’s working for 😡 Thank you Miss April for what you do, without you that facility would be a mess

I do not have a family member here, as yet. I have been collecting info and weighing my choices. That said, I toured 3 of the 4 Memory Care facilities and spoke with Management at each. I cannot say enough about the person''s with whom I interacted at each. They all were kind, attentive, patient and gave great information to questions, even those I did not know to ask! As far as the community though, I was most impressed with the members at The Reserve at Georgetown. There were persons of varying levels of dementia out in the living room interacting with staff and each other and participating. They were not parked in recliners in front of a tv. I realize that some of the 1 star reviews below were left awhile ago, and am sorry that they had a bad experience, but I experienced/saw none of those issues at my visit. This was the top choice as far as quality of care that I saw.
