Dear Friends of the Capital District and the North Country, l cannot begin to say enough good things about The Pines of Glens Falls, NY. My husband was in late stages of Parkinson''s Disease in 2020 and l was not able to keep him at home any longer. He required too much skilled nursing care that we, quite frankly, could not afford on a 24 hour basis. In December of 2020, during the Pandemic, there were NO skilled nursing facilities in the greater Capital Region, and l began reaching outside the District. The Pines, which is about 50 miles from our home, was the only facility that had a bed for him. l took it, but during that time, l was not allowed to visit my lonely hubby. I appreciated their rules and the fact that they had NO deaths due to Covid during those many early months spoke to me, due to their most stringent protocols. Fast forward to today. My husband was at The Pines for 1 year, 8 months and one day before his body surrendered to the wretched Parkinson''s grasp, but the care, and *loving* care that l saw was beyond amazing! Admittedly, nursing homes are not my favorite place to put a loved one, but l would choose The Pines, hands down, over any facility in my area. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the attention you gave to my cherished husband and the communications that you offered to me! Your facility, and ALL STAFF, has redeemed my faith in nursing homes!

Looks clean and neat. We were not happy about Ordering from the menu. An item was on the menu, but could not be ordered. The personal staff was very kind and helpful. Pam and Linc, and OT and PT were great! Thank you!
My mother Helen recently passed away at The Pines after living there for several years. The staff always took great care of her. They always treated her with respect and love, and she loved them back! The Staunches family is very grateful to The Pines staff!
Everyone I encountered was incredibly helpful and very informative.
BEWARE !!! BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!! don’t take your family here…. THESE PPL WILL NEGLECT, LET THEM FALL & BARELY FEED THEM… THEY ARE CURRENTLY BEING INVESTIGATED FOR MANY INFRACTIONS…. DONT PUT YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS IN THIS PLACE….
