First of all DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! My husband and I lived her for 14 months. It is not as advertised. They say active 55....but every event is during the day so if you work forget it. It is like a Retirment home. Lots of wheelchairs, walkers, and retired people. In my dealings with the manager....he was rude, disrespectful and does not care about the residents. I saw him be rude to a resident in front of a whole room of people. It was embarrassing to her . We moved out 2 months ago and have not gotten our deposit back yet. The manager stopped returning my calls. I had to start calling the new management co. (Greystar) and have gotten no help there either. I was told the check would be issued in a 7-10 days, then I was told it would be electronic, then I was told it would be a paper check again and it would go out "next day" I have never gotten it and now greystar will not return my calls or e-mails. This has been going on for 2 months. I do not usually leave reviews but I hope to save someone else the headache that we have been dealing with.

I chose The Orchard because they were running a special at the time of 2 months rent free and since I was moving out of state that helped my move. The apartment sizes are good and they have very nice amenities. There is a full size washer and dryer in the units and all of the appliances are virtually brand new. The ceilings are about 10 feet tall which makes it feel large. The only complaint I have is there are no full sized bathtubs but I understand why. They have colored parking and also have attached and detached garages that you can purchase. There is a dog park with turf in the back. They also have valet garbage pickup. They have continental breakfast 2/3 times a week and snack at social events, it is high calorie and carb foods so they could incorporate more healthy foods. If you are in 70s and 80s, I would definitely recommend the facility.

The staff who gave us the tour, her name was Star, and she was really nice and extremely helpful. Their dining area is very nice, but they don't do meals there except for special occasions. I know they have like poker, the women get together in bible studies, they do art, they do beat drum exercising, and they have yoga. We are leaning towards the Orchards Market Plaza.

We have been here since the Orchards opened in July 2020 and have been very pleased with the property. The staff and members are all great and friendly. The price is very competitive.
