Every Day Is Special at The Auberge at Plano
Come home to resort-style amenities, top-tier hospitality, and comprehensive care at The Auberge at Plano. The star of the show here is Main Street — residents can visit the theater, the sweet shop, the art studio, the beauty salon, the billiards room, and the large dining area, all from one centralized location made to look like small-town America. This not only lends a warm, inviting feel; it helps individuals with dementia be more independent. Main Street is also the hub for the robust activities program, which features quiz shows, evening meditations and outdoor sing-alongs. Many residents also choose to join social clubs; here, they can participate in ones like Cooking Committee, Wood Working Committee and Be Lovely Committee.
Older adults also have a chance to get out and enjoy the shops, restaurants and attractions of Plano. Near the community are Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, Oak Point Park and Historic Downtown Plano.

Needing to find memory care for your loved ones is so awful, emotional, and full of angst. My siblings and I made the decision to move our parents after many years of cognitive decline. We originally believed we would just pay for around the clock care, but it was alot to manage and our mom is pretty difficult so it is not an easy environment to work in for caregivers (which also makes home care more difficult to manage). We visited so many places. The staff here knows every resident by name and is very skilled in handling dementia. The facility is bright, and all the animals and activities makes it a vibrant community. The staff has been so communicative that it has made this terrible process easier to endure. It is still not easy, but having confidence that our parents are well-cared for is providing a peace of mind that we haven''t had in years.

Auberge at Plano is a nice facility. It was very, very nice. It was clean, it looked very safe, and you could tell that they keep the memory care residents separate from the assisted living residents. The staff was very nice, from the reception on to when I talked to the person in charge of giving me the tour. The dining area was very clean, very nice. There were so many people watching TV. Some of them were in a group doing something, some type of craft. But most of the residents were sleeping, whether they were memory care or assisted living, because it was right after lunch. The room was clean. It had a nice layout. It was well-maintained. The staff member was fantastic. He was wonderful, he was absolutely great. He was real patient, and he gave me his time. He wasn't rushing me and he answered all my questions; great people skills.

The Auberge has been everything and more than we could have asked for in a facility for my dad, mainly due to the hard work and caring of the staff members. It was a very hard decision to place my dad in April of 2020 due to his mental decline. We immediately felt that the Auberge was like "home." The staff is friendly, responsive, patient and go above and beyond in their care for my dad. They do a fantastic job in engaging the residents in activities throughout the day! My Dad''s favorite is their version of volleyball! The outside area is beautiful and has many areas to sit and walk around. The staff and caregivers all know my dad by his name and greet him when they see him. The best thing I can say about the Auberge is that my dad is always happy to go back when we take him out for outings, dinner, appointments etc....he looks forward to seeing his new friends again and feels as if the Auberge is his home!

I have been looking to place my mom in a community setting. With a little advice from my family and friends they encouraged me to just pop into communities to see what it is really like and I was not disappointed at all! I didn’t have an appointment and the Team at the Auberge Plano treated me with open arms. Samantha was quick to come get me and we started our tour. The community is so beautiful and very active. Each resident had a smile on their face and the staff was very attentive. I met many of the management. They were all so helpful and knowledgeable. I can not wait to show my family. This is the perfect place for my mom!

It has been an honor to work as the Marketing Director for The Auberge at Plano over the last three years. I have never worked with a team that I had such complete confidence in. The leadership tenure is unparalleled in our industry. All leadership has been with the community from between 3-15 years. One example of excellence that you just don''t see in other communities is that our Executive Director and Resident Care Coordinator have driven on roads covered in ice on multiple occasions to ensure our staff makes it to work safely and that our residents are attended during bad weather. In addition, our team works collaboratively with our families to find creative and compassionate care solutions on a daily basis. The entire team truly goes above and beyond. I rest easy at night knowing our residents are well cared for and our resident families are supported. Cognitive impairing diseases are all very unique and can be very challenging to navigate and we feel privileged to walk hand-in-hand with our residents and their loved ones during the journey. Please come and see us for a tour to experience our community culture and care for your self!
