I toured The Heritage Downtown. There were two staff who showed me around. They were very nice and very knowledgeable. But I felt like it was too formal for me, and it was very spread out. I would not have wanted a unit if they had one at a distance away so that I would have to walk to the front door all the time. I had the feeling that it was very active. But I have scoliosis, so I can't go from there to walk downtown. I just can't see myself partaking in a lot of the activities that they have available. I saw a group playing bridge and I saw some physical activity. They showed me one unit that was a lot bigger than all of them. It had one room that was very big and could be divided up into an office space and everything. The staff said it was $8000 a month, which seemed reasonable to me.
Read moreThe staff, residents, my wife and I met there were friendly and welcoming, the ambience is lovely, the food was delicious, and this feels like home. We can't wait to move in!
It is a wonderful place for seniors - keep you independent and happy yet not in assisted living - a nice in between step. You can still be younger and have fun and still feel safe.
The food is excellent, service is excellent. Atmosphere very friendly. The chairs in the cinema are very comfortable and luxurious.
I have lived here for over four years and the quality of all services has remained consistently high. The staff is effiecnt ad the activities are varied and quite enjoyable. A great place to call home.
We're fortunate to have lived at the beautiful Heritage DT for more than a year; staff is friendly and helpful, residents are friendly, kind and also helpful, plus full of interesting conversation. Food is good, activities are plentiful. The plant filled courtyard is colored with myrid flowers.
