Made the mistake of taking my loved one there for hospice care. I was absolutely horrified by their facility and staff. I had him out of there within 36 hours of being there. Plastic trash bags used to tie the privacy curtain back. Discarded q-tips and assorted garbage in chester drawers. Floor absolutely filthy. Their staff scrapes the bottom of the barrel and beyond. And their nurses must of been from the reject pile of the school of nursing.
Read moreI''ve been very pleased with all the employees at The Heights of Tyler . The facility is very clean. The Activity Director is the best! She provides daily activities and takes residents on many trips outside the facility. My special needs sister is happy there.

This place is disgusting!!! 1. Rooms are filthy 2. They leave residents who can’t walk laying in diapers filled with feces and pee for hours 3. Management needs to spend the money to have this facility thoroughly cleaned by professionals 4. Workers DEMAND respect from the elderly patients but treat them horribly 5. They rarely bathe the residents. Some go weeks without a shower. 6. I’m sure prisoners sitting in jail get better food. 8. Dinning halls are nasty. I’m going to post photos in my next review

Read moreWe transferred our handicapped brother here from a different facility and the care has been night and day 💞 He gets the proper attention he needs and the staff is amazing 👏🏾 I definitely recommend this particular facility for a Loved one in need of professional care.❣️

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE ! The nurse has attitude like she hates her job. They don''t really check on the patients they just stick there head in the door and ask if patient is ok. My mom has a pikk line and the dressing is supposed to be changed weekly that didn''t get done at all when she was there for the whole 20 days. When you call the nurse to check on your family member the receptionist or nurse always hangs up on you. I am so glad she has left this place . NEVER AGAIN IT WAS A NIGHTMARE
