TerraBella Spartanburg isn't the fanciest or shiniest facility we toured. We toured 4 around Spartanburg. But as soon as our tour was over, I knew it was the right place for my dad. It's a very homey place. It's older, but it's always clean and the people living there are excited and happy to be there, which speaks volumes. There is life in them! The staff are engaged with the residents and they treated my dad like their own father. The rooms are spacious, which was very important to us. Unfortunately my dad passed away only about 2 months after being at TerraBella, in [date removed]. He had progressive Lewy Body Dementia and it was horrible for us to have to finally place him in a memory care facility. To this day I have no regrets about choosing TerraBella for him.

We also chose Terrabella because they told us they were an end of life facility and that they would never increase his cost to stay there. Staff was very kind and always willing to talk. Several of the staff became very close to my Dad and had funny stories to tell us about the things he did during the day. I always felt comfortable walking in to visit.
