We toured Tender Care Home for Adults. It turns out that this was a group home and not independent living. It was an interesting experience. They were not motor-wheelchair friendly, which is what my mother uses. It's a house that's converted into a facility. The hallways were narrow because the house was built in the 1950s. It was not what my mom and grandma needed. The bedrooms are really small. The staff who assisted me was very kind, but it took a while for her to understand what our needs were, and when she finally figured it out, she was like, 'Oh yeah, this wasn't going to work for you all.'

The staff communication is good with the family, I'm able to get ahold of them anytime. Medication Management, hygiene, bathing, and dressing assistance is some of the care offered. It is a smaller community with only 5 rooms.
