Our experience has been great. Would recommend to anyone. Great staff - they are all friendly and very helpful. My husband is very happy there. [Name removed], one of the supervisors, was so helpful with me doing all the paperwork and guiding me on the journey.

Superior Residences of Clermont was very nice. They were available, courteous, and took me through a thorough tour of the facility. We talked about different options and I was able to look at different rooms. I was able to see a meal in progress. I found it clean and nice, and the staff was courteous and kind, and the residents all looked happy. They may have room varieties, but I was only touring the studios. Bingo was going on and they were about to have an ice cream social. The library and the movie room were together and they were moving their library elsewhere. I didn't see any arts and crafts going on, but I did see an arts and crafts room. It's an older building, but it was nice.

My mother has moved into Superior Residences of Clermont. She's in memory care. In the very beginning, we had to get adjusted, and we had to kind of keep our eyes on some things and make some corrections and stuff like that, but overall, it's been very good. They've got caring people who work there. There are good activities for the residents to do and it's a pleasant atmosphere. The common areas are nice. They've got little areas set up for television watching or exercising, and entertainment, and things like that, as well as activities like painting or artwork. It's very nice. My mother seems to be fine with the food there. They have singing on a regular basis. They've got people who come in and have devotions, play the guitar, and sing. They have some really nice activity that involves music or entertainment in the afternoon. They have different things in the morning. They might have artwork and they might have somebody come in and do painting. They have puzzles, and coloring, and things like that for people to do. They've had some troubles with the locking doors. They've had to constantly repair them and that's kind of been a problem. There have been a couple of times where I've seen where somebody has thrown up on the rug and they haven't cleaned it really good.

I'm now a resident of Superior Residences of Clermont. The good part of it is they do take you for short term. They're very friendly and caring. I'm sort of independent because I could do a lot by myself, but I'm here for wound care. For respite care, you don't have to bring your furniture. They supply the furniture, and I have a microwave and a refrigerator, too. They have bingo, movies, and card playing. I have only been a week, so they probably have more. I know they do chair exercises. They serve you in the dining room and you have a menu to pick from. They give you a choice. They offer three meals a day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Your main meal is lunch.
