This is one of the better communities you could choose from your loved one. The friendliness, care, and helpfulness of the staff stand out to me. The staff communication with the family is pretty good. There are times that you may not know who to reach out to; however, the director helps in getting you to the right person. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and there are choices to choose from. If the resident comes in late the kitchen will still serve the food and they seem to be flexible for the residents.
Read moreStaff and care services were fantastic. They offer something for everybody, several activities offered if your loved one partakes in those. The food was phenomenal as we had eaten with mom there on several occasions and it was always wonderful. Overall has been a great place for Mom.

The biggest thing for us is the location, it is very convenient for our family and the community has that Colorado - Northern Michigan Lodge vibe to it, nothing about it feels like a nursing home. The residents are always doing things, our loved one hasn't able to to participate in the activities yet so we do not know much about them. So far the meals and dining has been really good and the value for the money is pretty good

We got the impression that they told residents that were in the lobby that we were coming to tour and telling them to act happy. It just seemed forced and fake.
My mom has lived there for 2 1/2 years. She LOVES everything about it; especially the staff. I never thought she could be this happy anywhere but her own home. I am thrilled too less worry.
