I toured Sunrise on Connecticut Avenue. The tour guide was very informative, thoughtful, and pleasant. The staff seemed that way as well. The facility is a city facility, so there was not as much outdoor space, and it felt a little bit more cramped. Not that that was a bad thing, I kind of expected that because it's right on Connecticut Avenue in D.C. But the rooms were a good size and had a lot of light. The dining area was very nice. The area for physical therapy was kind of small, but the area for general activities for residents was adequate. The staff member who gave the tour was great. The dining area was very nice, but I did not try the food. It was an older building, but well-maintained.

Sunrise on Connecticut Avenue was beautiful. The grounds are not extensive, but they're very beautifully landscaped. There were lots of nice places outside. The rooms were small though. The staff who assisted me was very friendly and knowledgeable. The amenities looked lovely. They have lots of places where you could go sit and curl up with a book or meet and have a conversation with someone. They had puzzles going. Residents could just come up and put in a piece. The activities seemed good.

We went to Sunrise on Connecticut Avenue. It's good. They have very nice rooms. I looked at one-bedrooms. This staff is very friendly, welcoming, and cooperative. I met with the staff and the director. It's conveniently located and it's a nice place.
It did work out for our family for a short time. They tried their best and were very helpful for the time that we used them for and did the best they could. I would tell others if you are looking for an aide definitely call them.

I want to express my sincere appreciation to everyone who helped me take my dad to the eye doctor on March 30. I initially contacted Charles. He was very patient and knowledgeable and explained how things would work. Jeanette, always cheerful and helpful, arranged a driver and transport for us. The young man who drove the van was exceptionally kind and competent. Thank goodness he knew exactly where we were going! Doris was her bright, efficient self as she helped my father prepare for the outing. And Abbe, the nurse, helped me get the required paperwork. Abbe is wonderful with my dad and so capable and gentle when she changes his dressing. Christabel was the aide who accompanied us. She did a great job and was very caring and flexible. At first she was not allowed to come into the exam room, and then she was allowed, and then she had to leave. She never lost her cool and was a great help to me. It all went like clockwork! It was very arduous for my dad and we found out that he has great vision and only needs readers, so it was worth it. My sister, Linda, who lives close to Sunrise usually takes my father to his appointment. This was my first experience working with your amazing staff and I am very impressed. Thank you so much for hiring such caring, compassionate people.
