This was a sudden learning experience for us. Our family member moved in very quickly (urgent need) just as they were opening. The director of Memory care is very, very good, and the activities director is wonderful. The gentleman who handles the front desk is an excellent addition to this group. The facility is clean; the food is delicious; and there is always something going on, which is great for someone in Memory Care. We rely heavily on staff, and they have been very helpful. They use the SmileApp to provide us with pictures of things that happen on a regular basis, usually every day or so. It''s very helpful if you can''t be there, but the system does have more than a few glitches. I''ve also had issues with the billing system. My biggest concerns are with how hard I had to push to get our family member a COVID/FLU shot, and the fact that for what we''re paying, no one stays with a resident when they are in the hospital''s emergency department. Some of these issues may be because of the previous director, who is no longer there, and also because everything was new (facility, staff, everything). But because of these, I''m not comfortable giving a five-star review (I would give a 4.75 star review if possible).

Not a review of the facility, but I just wanted to mention how friendly the staff were. I missed a bus on a snowy day, and I had to wait an additional 40 minutes for the bus. I looked around for a place to stay for a bit, and I encountered upon this senior care center. I asked the receptionist if I could stay, and his hospitality not only helped me warm up my cold body, but it really warmed up my heart. Other workers questioned about my presence as well, but once I answered them, they were understanding too. If I was old and I needed a senior care center to stay in, I would definitely come here!
