I toured the property for my great aunt and the experience was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and professional. They knew the answers for all questions I had.
Took a tour of the place and it was amazing. Very friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere.
This facility puts my mind at ease knowing it’s Amanda Jenkins and her team taking care of my loved ones.

I really liked Stone Valley. It was just very warm and decorated very nicely. I like the fact that they try to get their residents out of the rooms every day, and they do their best to keep them engaged. The way the facility was laid out was very nice. They had just all kinds of different little areas in there where the residents could go. All the residents were very visible. They obviously try to get them more engaged and not sit in their rooms all day. I really liked the staff. He was a very nice guy, very open, he's been doing this for a long time, he's been in health care, and he was very caring. They were all very cordial. They all engaged with us, watching the staff with the residents, they also seemed very caring towards them. The dining area was great, very open. The rooms were nice, and they had a variety of options for rooms. They had a daily list of things that they do. They also had a list of the menu. They have a chef on hand that actually tries to make everything from fresh ingredients, and they try not to use anything with preservatives, so it's more of a healthy diet. They had arts and crafts rooms. They had an area where they could watch, they had old movies that were playing. The rooms were set up more like a family room setting where they had fake fireplaces in there. They had everything that goes with a fireplace, just not the fire. They just simulated the fire going in there. They had areas where they could just do simple things. They had one, and they had a bunch of ladies sitting around, and they were folding socks, just these simple things they enjoyed doing. They had all kinds of different little sitting areas all around in the hallways. They also had a courtyard where they could go out and sit, and they had bird feeders out there, and they had areas where they could do planting and things like that. It was very clean.

Stone Valley took very good care of us when we moved my mother-in-law in. Since we've been back to visit, we've got great reports about how she was doing. So, they have a very attentive staff and she seems to like them. She's got a spacious room even though she shares it with someone else. The memory care facility is clean. There are activities such as music playing all the time and some local entertainment where people come in every so often to sing and whatnot. The dining room is close to all the rooms. They have a nice lounge area with a television and lots of couches and chairs. The hallways are wide and have railings. They have memory boxes in each of the rooms where families can put mementos. There are gardens around the building with sidewalks and benches. It's kind of on a hill, so it has a bit of a view of the mountains behind it. It's very clean and well-kept. Since she's been there, she has put together puzzles, watched television, and attended the performances that were on site. On the whole, it's a pretty stellar facility.

Stone Valley was very nice. They have three landscaped courtyards for their residents to walk in, a full range of recreational activities, and it looks like the food is decent, too. The rooms all looked fine. I had nothing bad to say about it except that it's very inconvenient for me and I probably won't use them because I have to go so far out of my way to get there. The staff was very pleasant and he was there to sell the facility and he did a pretty good job of it. I came away thinking this is a possibility, but it's so far out of my way that if I can find something closer, I will probably choose something closer. They had a menu that looked appealing. Whether what they produce is appealing or not, I don't know.
