After our father had major abdominal surgery we were given a list of places for him to do his rehabilitation at. I''ll admit my sister and I were beyond apprehensive about sending him here based on the reviews. We couldn''t have been more wrong!! This place was absolutely PERFECT for our dad! They helped him but also held him accountable for his own recovery as well. They were simply fantastic in addressing ANY and ALL questions or concerns my sister and dad had. They more than set him up for success. We couldn''t be happier!!

AVOID THIS FACILITY. Brought my Father in law here for rehab/care after suffering a brain injury. Facts: very poor communication with family. Dad fell out of bed x2 during the stay and he was quickly transferred out after the 2nd fall. The accepting facility was NOT given any report on their new admit and when he arrived they had no idea he had a feeding tube, was NOT told he had fallen twice while there, NOTHING! Only one RN and an aide there showed any sort of compassion. Short staffed on the days we were there (2-3 per week) and we always had to search for someone if we needed something. And rehab? What rehab? Trust me, and consider taking your loved one elsewhere.

I came here after an auto accident, resulting in several broken bones. I cannot thank the staff here enough for everything they have done. I stayed through several holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and NYE) and the staff helped make me feel at home. Every CNA, nurse, cleaning staff, etc. were incredibly kind and did everything in their power to help me with whatever I needed. On busy days, it does take longer for staff to get to you, but it is no fault of the staff themselves. A lot of healthcare fields such as this are understaffed. Even if staffed properly, there’s only so much the staff can do if everyone presses their call lights around the same time. But, in my experience, if an aide/nurse was busy, someone would drop in, even if it was nutrition or cleaning staff, just to check in. I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than ten minutes for a staff member to come in, even if it was really busy. As for the therapy team, I did not have speech therapy, but I had physical therapy, occupational therapy, and I participated in recreational therapy occasionally. I cannot stress just how amazing this team is! Every physical therapist I worked with was kind and encouraging, while pushing me to do more than I thought I could. I went from being non-weight bearing when I first came in two months ago, to now where I took my first few steps with no assistive device! They work with your schedule to the best of their abilities (I love sleeping in, so they usually would give me my therapy later in the morning!) As I progressed, I asked if I could be seen longer than an hour, so I was bumped up to 2 hours! I think that without the amazing team here, I’d still be wheelchair bound. The occupational therapists worked with me on EVERYTHING, from simple tasks like brushing my teeth, all the way to cooking in a real kitchen! I get discharged tomorrow, and I feel very prepared. I do have to say that I am fairly young, so I didn’t have a lot of people my age to talk to. But, the residents I talked with were all very kind and they all were satisfied with their care! The visitation schedule is super accommodating as well. I would recommend this place to anyone needing physical and/or neurological treatment/rehabilitation. The staff really did everything in their power to make me, and the other residents, feel like they’re at home.
