The facility is very clean and nice . My Dad was here twice and thrived both times. He did very well with his PT and became stronger with good care . The staff were all friendly, attentive and caring . Any questions or concerns we had were addressed immediately.

UPDATE: Mom passed peacefully last week in the arms of so many people who loved her. And those people most definitely include the people who so lovingly have cared for Mom these past few years at the Grand. My Mom was family to each of them because THEY made it that way. I made one last visit yesterday just to hug each of them and thank them. Their grief was obvious. The individuals who work at The Grand at South Point care for the residents the way they would care for their own loved one. It''s remarkable. I will forever be grateful (and I won''t name names because I''m afraid of missing someone and there are tons of people to thank!) to every single person who has cared for and loved my Mom along with every member of our family. They were her family as well...and they know it. Today we all grieve. But today I want to tell you all to consider this loving, caring home if you find you can no longer care for your precious loved one at home. THANK YOU ALL!!! Laurie on behalf of our entire family Older posts: My mom lives in a wonderful Assisted Living facility. Mom (who is well now) contracted Covid and was briefly hospitalized. She couldn''t go directly back to her facility and had to be cared for temporarily at The Grand. We did NOT want her to go there - we wanted her to go back to her home where she felt safe and loved. Well, thanks to the incredible people who work at The Grand, and the guidance of her very thorough (and VERY patient and available) social worker Samantha DiClemente, mom is healthy, happy and, yes, back home. Every time I spoke to mom (thanks to Janice and the Recreation staff for cheerfully fielding and arranging allllll those calls!) she looked and sounded SO happy and safe and loved. So, thank you all. And here''s 5 stars for all of you. UPDATE: Mom got to a point where she needed skilled nursing care. We had ONE place we wanted her to go and that was The Grand. We''re so glad she''s here. Well-cared for and loved 24/7. Best decision ever. One of the nurses took a video of mom singing Karaoke recently and saved it on her phone for my next visit so she could share it with me. THAT is the kind of care my mom is getting. So glad we made this choice.

I had the delight of interacting with the staff and leadership there while a family member had to rehab there. Everyone here was overall easy to work with and took great care in order to ensure that our concerns were met and exceeded our expectations. The leadership there, Frank, was always easy to reach and took time out to ensure that we felt that we were taken care of and that our family felt safe and comfortable.

My mother in law had a fall and went to The Grand at South Point and I must say, everyone was absolutely amazing for the near 3 month stay. My mother in law received top care from every single person there! I highly recommend The Grand to anyone! During the holiday season, unfortunately my mother in law wasn’t home but I must say, The Grand was able to lift everyone’s spirit! The Grand had a holiday party, visit with Santa, food and drinks, and all the people received a gift! My mother in law is finally home and I couldn’t have asked for a better rehab! Again, to everyone at The Grand, thank you from the bottom of my heart!
