This place is awful, do not let your loved ones grow old here. Their staff is very rude and unprofessional.

Very good care, clean and professional environment. Sela the liaison was such big help, very supportive through the process of accommodating my patients and their families. Caring nurses, knowledgeable, professional and attentive. The charge nurses are always helpful and responsive to all my questions specially Karla RN, and the administrator Julie, has been very accommodating going above and beyond to provide the needed care and facilities necessary for my patients. The best nursing home experience I’ve had so far, I trust this facility with the care of my hospice patients.

My Father was admitted for rehab after a hip replacement in the hospital. I was asked by Iris to bring by clothes and anything he may want for his stay. I took by 4 changes of clothes, his iphone so we could communicate during COVID, his charger, and a few prescriptions from the dentist. My Dad was only there for 3-4 days before he had to go back to the hospital. I went back to pick up his things that were not transferred with him to the hospital and come to find they cannot find any of it or any record that I ever dropped it off. Its been 2 weeks and we just get the run around... they would look at security camera footage to see who took it from me when I dropped it off, but then they waited too long to view the footage and it got erased. Then the head social worker says she needs "more time", but never follows up with us. Its really frustrating that they have no idea what happened to his stuff and no records. If I had actually been allowed in the facility I would have made sure the items were personally put in his room.

On the plus side, the place is clean and the staff is nice enough, although sometimes there are not enough people to answer the call button promptly. They are also trying to make things right and listen to complaints. Some negatives: If you are being transferred from somewhere else, be sure that you have your meds for at least a day as they don''t always have everything in stock. This can be a problem, especially if they don''t have essential meds like for pain, etc. There are three beds in a room, although they don''t seem to be putting anybody in the middle bed. If the other person in the room has a big, loud family (which was the case for us) the other patient can hardly hear the TV. As for the TV, they are on small inside antennas so some stations don''t come in. Food is so-so and the portions are small unless one asks for more. There are no phones in the rooms which can be a real hassle if you want to call a patient. There are no extras that we see. This is a plain-wrap facility. OK for a short stay, I guess, but I feel for the long term inmates.
