The apartment rooms are very nice, but sometimes the care givers do take awhile to respond when someone needs assistance. We also thought they would be able to assist with helping our loved one bathe and use the restroom but that is not happening.

The facility is very clean. The staff are incredibly friendly. Mom tells me she loves the food, and the menu is diverse. The activities are great as well. I'm very, very happy with her there. Everything has just been amazing!

We had a horrible tour experience. Our tour appointment was set, and the night before, the administrator called to let us know that she couldn't make it, but another employee would be there to show us around and answer all of our questions. We showed up for our tour, and she had sent the maintenance man. He was very nice, but he couldn't answer any questions. Same with the girl at the front desk - she was very nice, but she could only answer a few of our questions. I was very disappointed in how unprofessionally the administrator handled the situation.

We chose Sunrise because we liked the fact that it was a smaller facility which gave it a more homey feel. The location was also close to our home and the staff members were very nice. The facility itself is also very clean and pretty. My mom has gone on and on about how friendly the staff and residents are. We had our caregiver go to visit mom and she did say she had to remind them to clean her room and give her showers. Overall I would recommend to others.

The tour with Sunrise of San Marino went nice. It was very nice there. The deciding factor with them is they had a veritable scale on pricing, so it appeared to me that their pricing would be continually increasing as time went on and it was already at the high end of our original criteria of searching. I don't think I could say anything bad about the tour other than we did not meet with the director, but we met with someone else who was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, but couldn't answer questions like on a finance costing rate. He couldn't discuss that with us at the time. It's bright, cheery, modern, and updated. We didn't interact with the staff, they didn't greet us, either. They were busy, and their residents were dining, so they were very busy.

The lady who gave me the tour of Sunrise of San Marino was tremendous. She was really good. The facility was great, very clean, very nice, and seemed newer. I really liked it. It's a very nice place. The rooms were beautiful, good-sized, and had nice amenities. The showers were very easy access for people to get into them. They had a TV table for television, and a separate area from the bedroom for just sitting. They were very nice rooms. I really liked it. The only thing that I didn't see there that I saw at the other place was a lot of people, and a lot of activities. It seemed a little emptier, or maybe the folks were in their rooms. There seemed to be a little less activity happening there than the other facility.
