I am writing in response to 2 stays that my mother had in Skilled Care. She was well taken care of. She was stimulated and encouraged to participate with therapy (who worked GREAT with her and had her WAY stronger both admissions) than she was when she came from the hospital. The staff communicate with her about her progress and kept the family informed the entire stay. The facility was clean and staff attentive. She loved the food, the CNA''s, housekeeping, and therapy had her cooking, (one of her favorite things to do) If she ever needs skilled care again, we will not look at other facilities.

If I could give this place 1000 stars I would! Having to deal with trying to get Medicaid for my mom I can not say enough of how Victoria was so helpful! She literally was available for all my questions and there was a lot. She held my hand and even calmed my nerves because it is so much paperwork needed. She never let me feel that I was bugging her at all. I can''t say enough about Marion, who has touched base with my family and siblings about helping Mom adjust with her new normal. Being the social worker there she has touched base with mom weekly to make sure she is adjusting. Genia, who does the admissions there, is amazing! She also helped getting mom settled and has touched base with our family with sometime weekly updates. The administration staff here is one the top notch in the field and I am so blessed to have mom there. Any one looking for a place that cares well this IS IT! Thank you everyone for what you have done!
Read moreShenandoah Nursing and Rehab is a great community! They have wonderful representatives that engage in our Aging in Place community group. They are constantly trying to grow and improve!
The staff is so great and caring. Your pets can visit! Food options and a LED TV big enough to see!
