My sister was in Rosewood over two years and it was a great place for her. The staff is very caring and attentive. Real bonds were formed with many of them. The facility itself is very nice but it’s the people that earns the 5 stars!

I cannot say enough good things about Rosewood. I have been an RN in the area for nearly 30 years. A few years ago I was living with an caring for the 87 year old father of a friend who had a series of strokes. The hospital placed him in another local nursing home where the PT was infrequent and the care was fair to poor and he wasn’t doing well. All he wanted was to return home. After transfer to Rosewood his improvement was startling to me. The PT was frequent and very good. He was a “high maintenance” individual and the staff there handled his “episodes” with kindness and a sincere care. The food was also very good. They were very easy for me to work with, both during daily visits and when he got truly belligerent. His son and I were happily surprised when he progressed physically to the point that we brought him home. I have been in Healthcare for a long time and have worked in many different venues, from ICU to Acute Care, from Assisted Living to Home Care. No place is perfect in every instance but our experience at Rosewood was extraordinary. From the management to the caregivers, I was impressed with them all, and his son and I want to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Alan and the entire staff.

RoseWood Village at Greenbrier was well-maintained, and the person that gave us the tour was fine. We walked through the dining area and we saw the posted menus. I noticed that the menu did not offer an option that my husband could have because he has an allergy to mammal meat. But they said they could make something special for him, and that they had another person who's had that. It was a nice-looking facility. They were doing some upgrading to the public areas of it. We were just disappointed that they didn't offer independent living, which is what we were looking for.

What we really like about this community is that they pay attention to small details. They remember that lemonade is his favorite drink. When one of the residents get anxious, they have a song they sing with her to calm her down. When another resident gets confused, they switch to speaking to her in Spanish and it calms her. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend Rosewood Village Greenbrier to other families.
Read moreI toured this community and loved it! The main street is very cute and right up my mothers ally. The patio area is beautiful and open. I am excited to make the next step! The sales lady and other people i encountered were so friendly and nice.

RoseWood Village at Greenbrier is a very convenient location for shopping, churches, and medical services. It is a very good location. The facility seemed to be in good shape. The staff seemed to be knowledgeable, and they were very helpful in answering my questions. I had a good visit, and I learned a lot. The availability is limited, so I think the issue is to try to get on the waitlist as quickly as possible. The facility itself is a good one. I went into the dining room and walked all over the facility, but I didn't try my food. The rooms are small and are limited to studios or one-bedroom apartments. They were renovating. They only had one that was available, and people are moving into it today. They were doing some work like painting and repairs. They were convenient to elevators, and they were spacious. I thought they were fine. The staff was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and was able to answer all the questions that I had. The staff was very receptive to feedback.
