13 years ago this place was good and my dad was cared for very well. Fast forward to this year and I’m hired as a private aide to a resident. Staff feels threatened by me being there. Administration wants to give me assignments. Patient is not given meds because they were being difficult but working with said patient would have taken an extra 10 min but it’s easier not to given meds at all . Left to look like a pauper when thousands of dollars in clothing disappeared. No compression stockings on . Wet disposable underwear causing excoriation of the skin and the start of bed sores. Aide has attitude when asked to get patient into bed for a changing, told me it was my job . Social worker is a sneaky weasel!! I wouldn’t take a dog to that place!!!!!!!!!

I Have been going to rose lane to visit my grandparents since 2012 and have always enjoy my visits! The staff are very polite and attentive to my grandparents and they go above and beyond to build that special bond with them, but the one complaint that I have is with my grandfathers caretakers. He seems very frustrated and irritable with the fact that when he wants to watch one of his DVD movies they do not put them back in the cases, nor the correct cases. Behind his TV there were roughly 30-40 discs stacked up with scratches on all of them from not being taken care of. With the understanding that nurses have many other patients to attend to, this issue still could have been avoided by putting the discs back in their correct cases. My grandfather had also mentioned that some nurses will not put the movie in that he wants to watch and that they put a random one in just to give a quick satisfaction and today I got to see a built up frustration from my grandfather that I have not seen in years. If somebody could please attend this issue it would be greatly appreciated. :)

The pictures the company shows you are correct and beautiful. It all ends when you go through the big doors to a residents room. They are straight up outdated, cold, gross and not comforting for a loved one. Some nice colors in a residents room would go a long way. The smell that hits you when you walk through the big door would scare a rat away. There is no cell phone/ computer use for the residents. The unit only had 1 phone for everyone to share. They can offer all the activities in the world to residents but the very place love, comfort and warmth is needed they fail.
