My mom may have lived longer if not for Rolling Hills. She was sent there from Vista, and my husband and I had to pay out of pocket for her daily rate, as she was Medicaid-pending. Although told she couldn''t stay because of this, the billing office still tried to get me to pay for another week. I then set up an appointment with the admin staff, several of whom were present, in order to discuss next steps for my mom. I was told I could go to Medicid state headquarters in Springfield. Really? They acted like she was the first patient in this position. I asked all of those in attendance that if it were their moms, what would they do? It wasn''t retorical - I was asking for help. They all looked blankly at each other and said nothing. Since she was not allowed to stay there, we found a place that accepted Medicaid-pending patients. Then COVID happened. The place that accepted her had extremely strict restrictions. She was not allowed to go out into the hallway. They ate in their rooms, in their beds. She had to be placed on Depends as they were short-staffed due to COVID. Because she couldn’t ever leave her room, the pneumonia she contracted only got worse, and she succumbed to it. I only hope that other families/their loved ones are better-helped than we were. Those in the office that day of our meeting at Rolling Hills should be ashamed of themselves.

I work for a wonderful company NICL Laboratory, as a phlebotomist and I go to numerous locations, Rolling Hills Manor being one of them and it’s sad when I have to document everything I do because you have some staff that will call and make a complaint about you making false claims when you are unable to draw a patient and it’s not right. I thank God for a company that will not take what someone else says before hearing my side. Other than that I love the patients I see the only thing that keeps me wanting to keep coming to this place to draw labs.

Rating a nursing home facility this low it''s pretty sad, but my sadness are more inside me loosing our mother, Not trusting your loves one with anyone it''s not common especially when your love one can''t express themselves or are not capable to communicate with no one, except by eye contact, Our mother was doing fine and care for before covid-19 got here, of course we had a care lady going to the facility every day and we were going there as well, as long the facility see their residents family or someone there looking after their love one, things goes smoothly, of course never did care they way the shower room smell, Shower was never clean or Disinfected, Covid-19 came and no one was able to see their family, which mean the residents were not care for, Our mother had covid-19 twice and she was in bed all day long, which mean the residents are getting infect it from their employees, They hire too many employees who do no care about the well being of the residents and spend quite a bit of time taking about their problems, what they did the day before or who they don''t like working with, because we were not able to see what was happening our mother was left on the bed with out care, We could go only see her from far away outside the nursing facility or behind a plastic screen, when we actually were able to see her close in her room, her eyes were glue shut and she was not able to open then from from sleepy color it, green stuff that were never wipe out her face, her teeth had so much tart and all her gums red from not been clean, she had a bad smell in her body that it seems like many months has pass without her been clean up, they change her disposable underwear and connected the feeding tube on, that was the only care she received, because so many months has gone by without her been move from the bed, when they got her up for the first time and gave her a bath because we went there and request it, our mother blood pressure went down and her delicate body couldn''t take it, We lost our mother that day and we couldn''t even say goodby, I''ll never recommend Rolling Hill Manor Nursing Home to on one who really care for their loves one. They actually deserve one STAR
