The rooms at River Ridge at Avon were pleasant. It seemed like they had adequate staff to meet the needs. The people I met were also pleasant. They had social amenities for the residents and that was good. The biggest negative for me was the fact that the medical staff at night was on call. They weren't physically there. So, that was a little concerning. It was mostly Caucasian there. There wasn't much cultural mix and I think mom would have felt really out of place. They had more traditional American food and I don't know if the diet would work well for her.

Not fully staff. Not encouraging to the patients. Communication is not good.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with our Mom at River Ridge - Thank you to the staff and chef that made a special meal for us! The staff has been wonderful and very attentive to all my Mom''s needs.
