This last review is pure garbage. It is definitely a cry for help. I think they may need to seek some professional psychological help. This building is a great place for people. They are warm caring and always do right by thier residents.

The worst place! My husband is stuck here due to family conflict and him being turned over to get approved by the state for Title 19. My hands are tied thanks to his family and Attorney Paul Bedard. The care is terrible, under staffed, he has been verbally abused by the staff, they don''t use proper hygiene while while tube feeding, has been hospitalized twice since being their and has declined significantly. The social worker Robert is the worst, totally hides the truth and I would get your love one out of their if you have the chance. It has been a nightmare! Terrible care and I wouldn''t feed that food to my dog!

Normally I don’t like giving low reviews. But my Father in law was brought here after a bad fall and nothing good came from being at Governor’s House. Not sure if this facility is under new Management but I have noticed that most of the high star reviews are from 2 years ago. He ended up getting worse, developing bed sores, and had to go back to the hospital and the Family had him go somewhere else for proper care. From his experience at Governors House I would not consider going here.

Several years ago I placed my father in this facility. Initially I was pleased with the care. In the last 2 years they have had 3 different owners. The recent acquisition created numerous gaps in care and a communication nightmare. My father recently died and unfortunately is was not a good experience for me or him. They are trying to staff up but at this point very short staffed. The covering doctor is one of the most obnoxious, rude, self absorbed individuals I have ever met. He should not be a physician in elder care. If you love your family member, do not place him/her in this facility. You will be greatly disappointed. I hesitated writing this review but after the neglect my father experienced in the last six months, I had no choice. I am certain that their neglect expedited his death. He took so many falls, last of which left his head bleeding and bruised. The facility never reported the incident to me. If I had not been there on a daily basis I fear the his death may have been. even more painful.
