I went to Sterling Care due to a broken hip. The staff is outstanding. Michelle the unit manager on Burnside is excellent. She listens when you speak and helps as much as she can. The nurses are fantastic. Cynthia is a joy to deal with and shows concern for her patients. Catherine(Dora) is fantastic...
I went to Sterling Care due to a broken hip. The staff is outstanding. Michelle the unit manager on Burnside is excellent. She listens when you speak and helps as much as she can. The nurses are fantastic. Cynthia is a joy to deal with and shows concern for her patients. Catherine(Dora) is fantastic and helped me through a minor situation. The receptionist is a delight. Very friendly and always smiling. The Therapy staff is outstanding. Tyler,Jake, and Chantali were awesome to work with and very encouraging. Bill is excellent. Rick is a good driver that always got me to my dialysis appointments. My only complaint is the food but its an outside company from what i was told. If i ever need rehab again Sterling Care is my only choice

Then she needed a bed pan this morning to pee and they put her on it and hurt her back and shoulder and left her on the bed pan for a long time after she had told them she was finished....
They ignored my wife when she needed a bed pan to go #2 and she messed herself and laid in it for close to a hour. Then she needed a bed pan this morning to pee and they put her on it and hurt her back and shoulder and left her on the bed pan for a long time after she had told them she was finished. I wouldn''t recommend this place to anyone. She is now being transferred to hopefully a better facility.

A report to MDH is next, my grandmother was talking when she went in on Friday and now non responsive with a bruise up half her thigh and whole buttock by Saturday night. Which they take no responsibility for. The memory floor is horrendous. They didn''t check on her for 6 hours while I had the door closed, they didn''t even know I was there. She probably rolled out of bed and was left to lay there until someone found her in the morning. But no report was done. She was slumped over with no TV on and no remote when i went to see her. Just left to waste with no interaction. It broke my heart. Don''t ever send anyone you love there.

Poor care and discharge planning, sending a friend home twice the last without any discharge planning on a woman going home alone needing daily woundcare! This is unexcusable!
