This place needs to be investigated. My mom has been there over 25 days and some of those she had been left in the same clothes , she’s ask for medication and she would have to wait 2-3 days , has had skin issues since she got there the food for example (she was given a half hash Brown this morning with extremely burnt toast which she said tasted like it was old , and eggs that were of a different color did not look like could even. Be consumed).

I was very concerned about reviews etc when I was notified that my mom would be going to Redwood Springs so I called to investigate and ended up having several great conversations with everyone from the social worker to admin and some of their assistants. I was notified that there had been a change over in staff and new admin /etc and was informed of the changes they had made and were still making. Since my mom has been there, everyone has been great with communication and everyone seems to be doing their jobs appropriately. Very forth coming with information and compassionate. There is always room for improvement in every place you go but if communication does not happen appropriately then changes can not be made. People have to be notified if you see or hear something you are not comfortable with so they can investigate and correct and educate . COVID hit all of these facilities very hard and it has been difficult for so many families across the board so this increases chances of people being upset and not understanding what is happening and why. Everyone is doing their best to navigate through all of this scary stuff! As hard as it is to keep up right now, everyone here seems to be doing a pretty good job. They also made sure that per my moms primary docs , she was given followup X-rays etc and everything was done correctly and I was promptly informed of results and plan going forward. Inspections are done on a regular basis here and the results have been good reports!

Horrible, my dad has been in this nursing home was admitted to the hospital about 5 times with septic shock because of lack in his care, spoke with his nurse Jolene on 11/26/20 at 1:15 pm who said that he is in his bed, I asked her if he is getting out of bed, she said that she doesn’t have time, when I asked her about his care she said that he is there in his bed and she can’t help, then she start getting offended and was inappropriate , she also said that there no supervisor to speak to and denied me seeing my father from behind the windows. It is simple if you don’t like your work, then don’t do it.
